It is our vision to be recognised worldwide as a leading university for inspiring learning, advancing expertise and enriching society through the fusion of education, research and practice .The postholder will play a key function in embedding and integrating our internationalisation efforts in support of BU2025.
We are seeking to recruit a Global Engagement Project agent to support our strategic international mobility and international partnership development ambitions. this function will be part of an established team led by the Head of International Mobility and practice. The post-holder will lead on developing University externally funded schemes and initiatives to develop international partnerships as well as support the delivery and increase the levels of funding in relation to development of global outlook attributes for all students and staff in support of BU2025.
The postholder will have specific responsibility for management and enhancement of the Turing Scheme programme at BU. The postholder will work with colleagues across the University. This will include working broadly with academic and professional service colleagues across BU as well as with HEIs and other partners overseas.
This is an exciting and varied function that will suit someone who has a passion for internationalisation of HE. The right candidate will have broad managerial practice and exceptional organisational and communication expertise. Ideally, you will have worked in the UK HE Sector in the field of international mobility but it is not essential.
This fixed-term position (with potential to extend) will suit a solution-oriented, confident and self-motivated individual who is able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative, who will thrive in a busy, and academic and professional staff facing function.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service's Points located System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
This position is available on a fixed-term basis until 1 September 2023.
This position is available part-time for 0.8 FTE.
