Job Opportunity: Apprenticeship Coach:Job description:Job location: Cranfield, Milton Keynes Fixed term: 12 months Job location: Milton Keynes We are inviting applications from people who are as a passionate as we are about supporting the educational needs of our current and future workforce. About the opportunity Our coaching team supports our apprentices and their employers through four different level six (undergraduate) degree apprenticeship standards; Chartered Manager, Cyber Security Technical Professional, Digital Technology Solutions and Data Scientist. this function will have a particular focus on supporting learners in our digital subject areas. You will provide individually tailored support for each apprentice and their employer, helping them to demonstrate how their academic learning meets the knowledge, expertise and behaviours required by the significant apprenticeship standards. You will be responsible for coaching and supporting apprentices from a range of business sectors, evaluating progress with the apprentice and their employers and advising on submission against the requirements of the End Point Assessments. About you We are open to ideas and think creatively about our resourcing needs. To be prosperous in this function you will need well developed coaching expertise and the capability to communicate with a diverse range people at all levels. You will be well organised, able to keep accurate records and work to tight deadlines. You will need to collaborate effectively, influence a network of stakeholders and build relationships across a diverse range of organisations. An knowledge of the apprenticeship process will be important for this function as well as technical knowledge in a digital subject. Previous practice of work-located learning or apprenticeship programmes would be an advantage, as well as accredited coach training and/or practice of using e-portfolio platforms. About MK:U MK:U is an exciting new addition to the Cranfield University educational family; a new model university for Milton Keynes, designed to meet urgent technological and expertise gaps.
