About the function Buxton and Leek College, as part of the University of Derby are excited to welcome candidates to lead on our brand new and exciting welding qualifications for adults. We are seeking to recruit a welding lecturer to teach from Level 1 and 2 welding related vocational qualifications at our Harpur Hill site. Whilst you will be primarily workshop located, we also require you to have the digital expertise and practice to assess. You will need to be adaptable, creative and resourceful in the face of the current challenges in education. Whilst we will try to maintain a consistent delivery pattern, there may be a requirement to teach evenings or a Saturday. The ideal applicant will be confident in collaborating with employers should there be a requirement. Buxton and Leek College was recently graded as a "Good" college by OFSTED and has a team of dedicated staff who take pride in supporting learners towards their study and career goals.
