Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing:Job description:Job location: Wrexham Job location: Northop The Department for Land-located studies, within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences is located at our Northop Campus. The enriched learning environment at the Northop Campus has helped countless students get ahead. Situated in the rural village of Northop, the campus reflects the backgrounds and cultures of the area, specialising in the teaching of a FdSc Veterinary Nursing degree programme, BSc Equine Science and welfare Management, BScAnimal Behaviour, Welfare and Conservation and MSc Human Animal Interaction. Our Northop campus plays host to around 100 students per year, creating a community where everyone grows together and learning is provided in a much more interactive and intimate way. The campus boasts teaching rooms, state of the art vet nursing clinical space,ancient woodland and conservation area, and formal and informal gardens. Wrexham Glyndwr University and are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join the team as a Lecturer on the Veterinary Nursing degree. The post holder will need to be a registered veterinary nurse or a practising MRCVS. A teaching qualification or practice of supporting student Veterinary Nurses in practice or education is desirable. Support to gain a teaching qualification is available if required. The capability to speak Welsh and offer support through the medium of Welsh would be highly valuable.
