Global Development Support agent (Outbound):Job description:Job location: Exeter This new full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term contract until 04/09/2023.It offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some in the house. The Student practice and Academic Success (SEAS) Division of the University of Exeter is seeking to recruit a Global Opportunities Support agent (Outbound) located at the Streatham Campus. SEAS resides within the Education and Student Support Directorate which is responsible for providing key education and administrative support activities that underpin the student practice. SEAS consists of professional services teams that provide a portfolio of educational activities to assist students with the development of their academic, professional, personal, career and employcapability attributes all over their time at University, including global practice opportunities. About the function The Global Opportunities Support agent (Outbound) will be part of the Global Opportunities team and provide dedicated support on matters relating to Global Opportunities across a range of activities and programmes. Key tasks will include the recruitment, guidance and support of students going on a global mobility before, during and upon their return from placement. Team members at this level work collaboratively to provide and act as ?first port of call? for students, significant staff and external stakeholders in relation to Global Opportunity programmes. About you We are seeking for someone with excellent organisation and planning expertise who is able to communicate effectively in person, writing, email and telephone. The ideal candidate would also have practice of using student record databases, of working in event management, and of working in a Higher Education environment.
