Job Offer: Procurement Manager (70225-0822):Job description:Job location: Coventry Procurement Manager (70225-0822) £32,348 - £42,155 per annum (a £5,000 per annum market supplement pro-rated and non-pensionable is available for the prosperous applicant on provision of evidence they are MCIPS qualified). Permanent, Full Time function. The function is advertised full time (36.5 hours per week) however we would consider applications from individuals interested in working part time hours (a minimum of 30 hours). We are seeking for practiced, solution-focused procurement professionals to join our Procurement and Insurance Services team at Procurement Manager level. The Procurement and Insurance Services team offers the opportunity to make a real contribution to the University. Impacting over £200M of expenditure, the team manages a diverse portfolio across the entire spectrum of university activity, supporting world leading research, excellence in teaching and delivering an exceptional student practice and campus environment. Category areas managed by the central Procurement and Insurance Services team include STEMed, IT and Digital, Professional Services, Commercial, Office and Library and Academic Services. As Procurement Manager you will be responsible for a defined portfolio of spend, undertaking a variety of category, supplier and contract management activities and delivering sourcing solutions for University departments. You will work with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure that the full benefits of procurement activities are realised.
