The University of Nottingham is currently recruiting for a School Administrator, to join our School of Health Sciences, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The School provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation, and allied health professionals. We aim to educate and nurture the best and brightest students to go on to transform the lives of individuals and communities locally, nationally, and internationally.
The prosperous candidate will be required to support significant administration processes within School's activities. This is a wide-ranging function, and the prosperous candidate will need to be flexible and confident using office 365 suite, working with internal and external practice stakeholders, supporting the implementation of new processes, and providing day to day online and in person admin tasks.
The function forms part of a wider Operations Team that supports the co-ordination of the School's operations processes to ensure accurate and effective completion within university and school deadlines.
This will be achieved by liaising within the Operations Team and more widely with school academic and other administrative staff, Student Services, University central teams and external suppliers.
It is located in the Medical School and the building links to Queens Medical Centre. It will be predominantly office located although there may be opportunity for occasional home working.
This is a permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
