adjunct Technician:Job description:Job location: Huddersfield £21,761 - £23,950 per annum Job location: Huddersfield Permanent 37 hours per week Vacancy Ref: R6793 We are seeking for a well organised and self-motivated individual to join the technical support team in the School of Applied Sciences. The function involves preparing equipment and materials for practical classes, where you will work as part of a team of technicians providing technical assistance across a wide variety of laboratories and facilities in the School in particular Biology, Geography and Pharmaceutics. Laboratory practice and A-levels or equivalent qualification in Science related subject (ideally Biological Science) are essential requirements for this function, along with the capability to work on your own initiative and effectively as part of a team. Also required are good communication and interpersonal expertise. The school is committed to Athena SWAN principles and the promotion of equality and diversity.
