Research adjunct in Biomarkers for Parkinson's Disease:Job description:Job location: Oxford Job Details (corehr.com) Reporting to Prof Chrystalina Antoniades, you will be a member of the NeuroMetrology lab (NML) investigating quantitative neurophysiological and neuropsychological biomarkers for Parkinson's disease. These will include oculomotor, manual, gait and cognitive tasks. You will be involved in testing patients with Parkinson's disease as part of a research clinical trial. You may provide guidance to less practiced members of the research group, including PhD and MSc and honours project students. You will also be heavily involved with data analysis and writing up manuscripts. For this function you will need to be anundergraduate degree in significant discipline (for example neuroscience, psychology, biological and natural sciences, together with some significant practice.), a masters degree in Neuroscience as well as practice on data analysis with neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's and related disorders, and particularly from digital technology. It would be desirable if the candidate has practice of contributing to reports and articles for publication and Some expertise of coding including matlab and python. The post is full-time for a 1 year fixed term in the first instance.
