This is an exciting time to join the Departmentof Social Work, Care and Community at Nottingham Trent University as we launch an updated curriculum across our MA, BA and Apprenticeship Social Work courses. We are proud to be a part oftheprosperous andthriving D2N2 social work teaching partnership and work collaboratively withpeople with lived practice of social work.We make contributions to national and international social work agendas. We are seeking for twoenthusiastic and suitably practiced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in social work to join a committedteam of social work and social care professionals.
You will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, who has social work practice practiceandideallypractice of teaching social work in Higher Education. Having a Masters qualification would be desirable.
You must be an enthusiastic educatoras well as having the capability and availability to develop as a researcher.
You will demonstrateexcellent communication and interpersonal expertise and a commitment to supporting students' development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Mentoring and support for development in both teaching and research will be provided to appointees in conformity with their level of practice.
