If you have solid administrative practice in a customer facing function, with excellent all round communication expertise, we would welcome your application for this function with the Division of Law, Society and Social Justice.
You will provide end-to-end student administrative support to the academic portfolio of taught courses and programmes within the Division, utilising your broad knowledge of the routine activities required to ensure the smooth and efficient administration of the taught programmes in the Division, you will be responsible for responding to students and colleagues from across the University as well as visitors and external contacts on routine matters.
As a Taught Programmes Administrator you will:
   » Act as a point of contact for all taught students, advising on a wide variety of matters to support a positive student practice
   » Provide a broad range of support and administrative service across all taught programmes
   » Provide administrative support to the Division's Exam Boards and Mitigation Committee(s)
   » Undertake general administrative tasks related to programme administration, timetabling and examinations to ensure the Division is promoting a positive student practice in line with the requirements of the University's Codes of Practice and policies.
To be prosperous in this function you will have/be:
   » Previous administrative practice in a customer facing function
   » Good IT expertise, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level)
   » Excellent communication and presentation expertise, able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing
   » practice of minute taking
