The Opportunity
This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University's Information & Digital Services Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for leading the Universities digital services across our campus and virtual presence. The function of Junior DevOps Engineer is located in our Operations & Infrastructure team which is helping to drive our ambitus digital transformation programme.
This is a great entry level function to the world of DevOps - you will help the University design, build and use a range of services utilising technologies such as Cloud (AWS & Azure), Kubernetes and scripting languages. The function will help drive forward a number of key projects at Keele such as identity management, website hosting and deploying a variety of apps and systems used by Staff, Students & Researchers at Keele.
This is suited to someone who may be new to the function of DevOps. The function will allow you to undertake personal development opportunities and technology training significant to the function.
located at the scenic Keele University Campus, flexibility for both on-site and working in the house can be arranged.
