Offer: General Porter x 3:Job description:Job location: Bath this function is eligible for the ahs New Starter bonus. Apply today and if you are appointed, receive an additional £500 one month after starting and £500 on prosperously passing your probation period (six months). *subject to Terms & Conditions We have vacancies for General Porters. As a General Porter you will be responsible for delivering and receiving stock, setting up tables and furniture, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, operating dishwashers and carrying out everyday cleaning of kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery. The prosperous candidate should work well within a team and have practice of working in a kitchen porter/general porter function and providing an excellent standard of customer service. A current driving licence is essential to this function. Previous practice of using email and finance/stock computer software would be an advantage. The function includes early morning, evening and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract (36.5 hours per week). We are open to consider a variety of flexible work options, including part time or compressed hours, so if you are unable to work the hours advertised, but would like to explore alternative flexible options, including a 4 day week, then we would still love to hear from you. Please note your preferred work options in your application form. Training and uniform are provided, and there are opportunities to develop in the function and seek promotion into managery functions.
