Wrexham Glyndwr University (WGU) is delighted to be in a position to advertise for Nurse Lecturer posts within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences' Nursing. We have vacancies for full-time nursing lecturer functions Adult (two posts Wrexham campus), Child (one post flexible between Wrexham and St Asaph campus) and mental health (one post Wrexham campus) - Start date January 2023. These posts have arisen following a commissioning process conducted by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW). As a result of this WGU have been awarded provision to expand the portfolio of Nursing (Adult, Mental Health and Child fields). These programmes offer exciting opportunities to contribute to delivery of HEIW commissioned programmes. We are seeking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent health care, committed to enhancing the student practice and supporting students, and excited to make a huge difference to the future health professional workforce in North Wales. Whilst these are full time post, we can offer job share or part-time, please indicate this in your application. Welsh Language expertise are desirable for this function. candidates must have current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. Additionally, practice in significant clinical areas and practice of facilitating learning and developing new initiatives will be necessary.
