We're looking for an eLearning Content Developer to implement a multi-media approach to learning to help us engage and deliver best in class learning practices.
You will be joining a dynamic, welcoming and creative team of online learning professionals, located within Cambridge University Press and working across the University of Cambridge. This is a key function in the Cambridge Online Education team and the prosperous candidate will support the development of online courses for the University of Cambridge and beyond.
About the function
You will work closely with Learning Designers and subject matter experts from a range of University faculties and beyond to deliver courses and connected assets of the highest quality. You will be expected to work to tight deadlines on multiple projects and with a range of internal stakeholders.
The primary focus of your work will be the development and delivery of a portfolio of online courses. You will be responsible for creating course content pages, deploying assets in the learning management system, configuring assessment items, delivering technical/bug fixes and making recommendations for continuous improvements. Our courses deliver best-in-class online learning practices and your work must be of the highest quality.
Familiarity and proven competence working with a range of integrated learning technologies is essential, as is a commitment to your own professional development.
About you
You have at least one year's practice building and supporting innovative and impactful online courses, preferably within a Higher Education setting. You are comfortable working as part of a collaborative, multi-skilled team of design and development professionals and will have an consciousness of how people lgain online. You should also be familiar with design thinking and agile methodologies.
practice with Canvas LMS would be ideal but not essential.
