We are seeking to appoint an practiced person to lead and manage the University's Student Conduct and Compliance team. The prosperous applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing University policy and procedure in relation to: student complaints, academic appeals, non-academic and academic misconduct and fitness to practice at all times ensuring that students are provided with appropriate information, advice, guidance and support. They will also be responsible for embedding a University-wide culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, ensuring appropriate training is in place for staff as well as clear communications with support for the student conduct and compliance team working flexibly across organisational boundaries. We would like to hear from highly practiced candidates who have recent practice in the above and who are keen to progress their expertise at St George's, University of London.
Key attributes of the prosperous applicant include:
   » practice of (a) managing investigations into misconduct and behaviour; (b) working in customer complaints; (c) issues relating to inappropriate behaviour and harassment; (d) managing and developing policies and procedures; (e) managing budgets and a team;
   » Knowledge and knowledge of advice and guidance services for healthcare students engaged in study towards highly regulated GMC, HCPC, and similarly-regulated professions
