Security agent:Job description:Job location: Selby Hours of work: 37 hours per week Weeks per year: Term time only, 38 weeks per year Location : Selby College Campus We have a great opportunity for two Security agents to join our Estates team at our Selby College campus. As a Security agent you will provide an essential front of house service, which will involve providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors to the College. The Security agent function is varied and no two days are ever the same. As a Security agent, you will undertake security tasks to ensure that regular patrols are carried out to monitor security and report any issues through the appropriate channels. You will also monitor student behaviour, intervening and managing behaviours when appropriate, promoting a positive College ethos at all times and reporting inappropriate behaviour to a duty manager. We are seeking for someone who can communicate at all levels and has the capability to remain calm and professional in a range of situations, quickly assessing and diffusing situations in line with College policies and values.
