The Leeds School of Architecture (LSA) is one of five subject areas within the Leeds School of Arts and offers a broad portfolio from undergraduate to PhD level. We explore research, interdisciplinary work and different modes of practice to tackle our current environment, social and ethical challenges. We are now seeking to appoint a Professor of Architecture who, working with the School's Directors of Research and Head of Architecture, will provide research leadership abilities in Architecture in the Architecture and Landscape Subject Area. You will have a significant and sustained track record of high-quality research publications which meet international standards of excellence and practice of leading academic staff and mentoring staff in relation to research funding, research collaborations, research impact generation and outputs. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and direction of research in the School and will lead inter- and multi-disciplinary research in collaboration with colleagues in the School of Arts, within other Schools and external partners. You will be able to shape our research culture and build on interdisciplinary modes of practice. You should have practice of prosperous supervision and graduation of doctoral students and delivering teaching at all levels.
