Accommodation Services manage a portfolio of over 10,000 bedrooms across a variety of properties and work with a selection of third partner providers. Working as part of a team, you will be responding to email, live chat and face to face enquiries to provide a professional customer focussed service. You will provide a first line response to all applicant and student accommodation queries. The function will assist in the administration of student applications, allocations, pre arrival and post arrival processes involving a high volume of applications and room stock. Each agent is accountable for approximately 2,500 rooms each and working with a minimum of one external third party provider. You will be required to operate within set time frames to meet the student accommodation guarantee and recruitment targets for both the University and third party accommodation providers. Liaising with third party providers you will ensure that contractual SLAs are being met and that students receive the best possible student practice. You will be able to build reports using complex data systems to monitor availcapability, conversion and inform senior management. The Accommodation agent function is critical to the conversion of candidates to students in the recruitment process and accurate and precise reporting is required.
Candidates should have substantial administrative practice of working in a customer focussed environment and be educated to at least HNC/HND standard (or equivalent). Excellent IT, interpersonal and relationship management expertise are also required.
This is a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours per week) position. Job share arrangements may be considered. this function is required to work full time in the office and is not open to hybrid working.
