This is an exciting opportunity to join the Research and Evaluation Division in Public Health Wales as a? Senior Public Health Researcher , linked to the? National Centre for Population Health & Wellbeing Research Centre ?(NCPHWR). The post holder will develop and deliver a research programme focused on children's mental health and wellbeing, realising the potential of linked data in Wales and generating outputs to inform policy, practice and future research and evaluation bids
The right person for the function will have practice in using appropriate complex quantitative analytical approaches in a public health-related field for research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation; and an capability to apply their transferrable expertise in applied health research, social and behavioural sciences, epidemiology, and/or statistics. They will use their expertise and practice to develop innovative research approaches and provide leadership abilities and direction to partners engaging in public health evaluation activities.
The capability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.?
