International agent:Job description:Job location: Durham, Work in the house Full-time (35 hours) The function and the Department The International Office is responsible for: » The recruitment of international students to all areas of the university to meet institutional targets » Supporting and managing the developing of international partnerships to raise the University's global profile and to support academic colleagues in developing international links and collaborations » Managing the university's student mobility programmes (Erasmus+ and other exchange partnerships) to meet the University's student mobility targets The International agent will support all aspects of the delivery of the University's Global Strategy, with particular responsibility for the achievement of international student recruitment targets. With support from their line manager and International Office colleagues, the post holder will develop and disseminate expert expertise, to assist the University's relationship management in market. Market responsibilities may change over time in line with the external student recruitment landscape and the priorities of Durham University as well as to provide the post holder with varied practice . Initially this post will support our recruitment activity across Africa. this function involves significant independent travel and some evening and weekend work. We are currently piloting a hybrid working model which enables members of the team to work in the house up to 3 days per week depending on business need. Skills:
