HCA is a dynamic independent arts school with the capability to collaborate across disciplines to develop empowered dynamic creatives for a changing world. Our students consistently win national awards in a range of disciplines. We have an industry significant set of HE courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level with plans to expand and the BA (Hons) Digital Content Creation course is part of this development.

The College seeks to appoint a highly creative and committed individual to launch our newly validated BA (Hons) Digital Content Creation course. This innovative employer-focussed degree explores a broad knowledge of the world of communication and marketing through working within a wide variety of disciplines, equipping our students with the professional skills needed to succeed within this rapidly expanding sector of the industry. The function will include shaping the future of the programme and teaching the cohorts as they expand, whilst developing the ethos and content of the course. We have a clear sense of creative identity in this expanding sector of education. We are rooted in creativity, collaboration and individual student voices and journeys.
This is a chance to bring new ideas to the table to ensure our students are prepared for the changing shape of modern careers, bring new industry links and a vision for the future of the direct communication through digital content.
The prosperous candidate should have proven skills and professional practice in the broad field of content creation. It is also desirable that candidates will have practice of programme leadership abilities within Higher Education and teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level. HCA employs many dual professionals and has a prosperous track record of supporting staff to move between industry and education at the start of their academic careers.
For more practiced candidates there is the chance to be the new Head of School, and take on additional responsibilities across a number of programmes, alongside leading our BA (Hons) Digital Content Creation. Details for this opportunity are available on application.
