We are offering an exciting new opportunity to join the Academic Quality team in Academic Services and to have a lead function in the next phase of the team's development, working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Academic Quality. This integrated team is responsible for the delivery of high-quality support to Faculties and academic partners to ensure the effective implementation of the University's quality assurance and enhancement framework. The Academic Quality Policy and Project Manager is one of two identical posts in the Academic Quality team and a member of the Academic Services' management team which contributes to the strategic development of the service.
You will have a lead function in delivering enhancement projects and continuous improvement of service delivery across the University to ensure effective and consistent implementation. You will have practice of working with stakeholders to articulate their requirements and constraints, to understand opportunities and identify solutions.
You will be an practiced professional with a background related to HE academic quality. You will have practice of HE quality policy development and practice in the design, implementation and evaluation of process and procedures. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication expertise are essential as well as the capability to develop and maintain relationships with Faculty stakeholders at all levels and a wide variety of UK and international partners.
The prosperous candidate will be able to manage to prosperous completion complex projects with wide variety of stakeholders, and to deliver innovative solutions, both personally and through a team, in an environment in which flexibility and adaptcapability are essential.
