Job Opportunity: Head of Operations:Job description:Job location: Belfast The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre is seeking an operations leader with significant technical skills and a track record of prosperous delivery in a research and innovation environment. You will establish the systems and processes for effective performance and strategy execution across AMIC, and supervise programme delivery to expected quality, cost, timelines and outputs. You will be responsible for operational delivery of facilities and management of the latest advanced industrial technologies. Be part of delivering our mission to innovate and create impact in advanced manufacturing - for business and society, in Northern Ireland and globally. The prosperous candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria: » Honours degree, equivalent or higher qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology or a related field. » Significant practice in a leadership abilities function(s) within a significant research and innovation setting, with a proven track record of motivating and developing cross functional teams creating a collaborative working environment. » Strong evidence of operational management in a technology-driven environment, including establishing systems and processes, facilities and equipment management, superviseing health and safety. » Track record of leading cross-functional programme or project delivery. » Proven track record in delivering prosperous high quality, on time project results for a range of complex and innovative projects.
