Harrogate Collegeis seeking an practiced assessor to support science apprentices on their journey to success. Harrogate Collegecurrently delivers Level 3 Pharmacyapprenticeships.

What You Will Do
   » Managing your own caseload, arranging site visits and meeting with employers
   » Monitoring progress and completingprogress reviews
   » Liaisingwith, and provide feedback to the employer on progress against the Apprenticeship knowledge, expertise and behaviours
   » To produce and monitor individual learning plans for learners and contribute to their updating
   » Lead, contribute and participate in the assessment and quality assurance procedures for all programmes/ training provision, including Internal Verification.
   » Contribute to the review and evaluation process in order to ensure year on year improvements.
About You
   » Hold a specialist qualification in the curriculum subject area.
   » Be registered with the GPhC.
   » Possess A1 Assessor units or a availability to work towards.
   » Level 3 teaching qualification or availability to complete within a set timeframe.
   » Previous practice of assessing and an knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards.
   » practice of teaching, training peers or transferring expertise to others.
   » Substantial industry practice in a significant occupational area.
   » knowledge and practice of current working practices within the occupational area.
   » practice of giving clear and constructive feedback to students to guide learning.
