The School's Faculty of Public Health & Policy (PHP) is seeking an practiced, organised and motivated Faculty Administrator to join its busy Faculty Office team.
The PHP Faculty Office team supports the Dean and Faculty Operating agent in operational coordination and delivery. The Faculty Administrator (People and Operations) has a particular focus on administration relating to Faculty HR, EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion), communications and events.
The prosperous applicant will have excellent communication and administrative expertise, including proven capability to organise and deliver work according to deadlines and importance. You will be able to use your initiative to deal with problems, and work proactively, collaboratively and independently. significant practice of providing proactive administrative support in a similar function is essential.
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and permanent.
this function will be primarily office located at Tavistock Place, London. LSHTM operates a hybrid working model allowing a mix of on-site and at home working for this function. Staff are expected to attend LSHTM buildings 8 days per month on average (pro-rata for part-time staff). Staff who prefer to attend the office more than this amount can do so (including every day). Onsite working days are flexible and can be agreed with Line Managers.
The income will be on the Professional Services income scale, Grade 4 in the range £33,111 - £37,298 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary ?Wellbeing Days?. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.
