We are pursuing an enthusiastic individual to join our team as Business Support Administrator in Student & Academic Services (S&AS). Led by the Deputy Chief Operating agent (Student), S&AS provides a home for professional services teams supporting key aspects of the educational practice: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/saas

Under the direction of the Business Support Team Leader, you will provide support to senior staff across the department. The function will include a range of administrative tasks including; scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling travel arrangements, booking catering and supporting events. The capability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism is essential as well as the capability to present information clearly (both verbally and in writing).
You will be a key point of contact for staff and external contacts; ensuring smooth everyday operations and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
We are seeking for someone with practice of providing excellent customer service (but this does not need to have been gained in a university). You should also have good attention to detail, strong IT expertise and be able to cope with juggling multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
