Are you interested in working in a top-ranked urban studies and planning School, undertaking ground-breaking research and delivers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes accredited by the RTPI, RICS and CIH?
We are pursuing applications from ambitious, highly motivated and talented individuals from across the social sciences who can deliver excellent teaching and research within the area of urban studies and international development. The candidate will be expected to deliver modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas of global urban studies and international development with interests in the politics and policy of international development, informality, urban violence and insecurity.
The Department of Urban Studies and Planning is a globally recognised centre of excellence for education, research, and knowledge exchange in planning and urban studies. You would be working alongside colleagues with a diversity of research interests and specialisms, who share an overarching mission to enhance our knowledge of cities, and how we might better design, plan, develop and manage them for all citizens.
