ICMS Audio-Visual and Digital Media agent:Job description:Job location: Edinburgh Contract type - Open ended position Full time - 35 hours per week We are seeking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences to support the delivery of high-profile international events. This post presents an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their career in the fields of audio-visual and digital media delivery. The opportunity: This varied function presents the postholder with the opportunity to support and enhance the way the Centre communicates and delivers its large portfolio of events. There are opportunities for you to be creative and innovative as part of the vibrant and engaging culture at ICMS. This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and fully campus located. Your expertise and attributes for success: » You should have the capability and initiative to plan work to ensure effective service delivery, resolving conflicting timescales and priorities independently and exercise judgement and discretion to resolve issues in a transparent and consistent manner; » Excellent communication expertise both written and oral, including practice of working in a customer-facing function; » Proficient in the use of AV and video conferencing systems and delivery of events; » practice of editing webpages; » capability to create content for webpages and media campaigns; » practice of working in a computing support function, and an knowledge of operating systems and hardware configuration.
