We are currently seeking a Work Placement Coordinator to join The Bedford College Group at our Dunreliable Campus.
As a Work Placement Coordinator you play an important function in the success of our students to:
   » Build, maintain and grow relationships with external stakeholders such as JCP with a view to providing high quality teaching and learning in Employcapability and other sector expertise courses, as appropriate to your qualifications.
   » Work with employers to directly recruit and employ the students that have completed the programmes.
   » Deliver employcapability and other sector significant courses
   » Provide both academic and pastoral support to students, working with them to raise their ambition and aspiration, ensuring they realise their full potential.
Ideal candidates will have previous practice of working within the employcapability sector, alongside the following qualifications:
   » Maths and English qualifications to GCSE grade C or equivalent or capability to achieve.
   » PTLLS/DTTLS qualification or other significant teacher training
   » Demonstrate an knowledge of the current and future curriculum developments within own specialist area
