We are seeking for a Research Associate with expertise in qualitative research and a passion for working with patients to undertake research which improves healthcare services.
Specifically, you will be working on a new qualitative study which will explore patient and healthcare professionals' practices of Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (GTD) (molar pregnancies).
You will conduct and analyse interviews with participants and utilise the findings to improve diagnosis and treatment pathways. The prosperous candidate will work together with stakeholders to devise and implement these changes on a national scale.
You will be working closely with patients, including conducting interviews alongside patient researchers.
We are seeking for someone with a Masters in a health/social care-related area e.g. public health, research methods, with practice of undertaking and analysing qualitative interviews. Prior practice of working with patient researchers would be advantageous. The post is located in the School of Medicine and Population Health at the University of Sheffield, which encompasses some of the leading health services research groups in the UK.
