About the function:
We have a great opportunity for an Executive adjunct to join the Cancer Research UK National Biomarker Centre and become an integral part of the Director's office.

As the Executive adjunct to the Director of the CRUK National Biomarker Centre, you'll be at the heart of the Centre's operations, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the Director's Office as well as supporting the Centre's wider administrative operations. Your tasks will be varied, ranging from managing the Director's dynamic diary and inbox, arranging meetings and travel to assisting with arranging visits to the Centre. You will be the go-to person who keeps things on track. Your attention to detail and proactive mindset will make you an invaluable asset. You will have the capability to remain calm in a busy office with rapid demands and become an NBC ambassador to maintain and enhance our international reputation.
About you:
You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have equivalent significant work practice along with:
   » Excellent organisational and time-management expertise.
   » Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal along with proof reading expertise and strong attention to detail.
   » You will be able to creatively solve problems and address any issues.
   » Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools.
   » A friendly and approachable demeanor, even under pressure.
   » Proactive attitude with a availability to lgain and adapt.
   » practice of working within an academic, clinical or scientific environment is desirable but not essential.
