Lakeside is the University of Nottingham's public arts provision with a year-round programme of exhibitions, live performances, festivals, workshops, talks and lectures open to everyone, including University staff, students and members of the public.



located in the beautiful surroundings of Highfields and University Park, Lakeside has two popular cafés and a shop including crafts by local and national makers. The programme attracts around 185,000 visitors annually not including café visitors www.lakesidearts.org.uk

You will support the CEO, Deputy Director, Head of Music, Creative Programmer, and Learning Manager, providing effective administrative and related project support/co-ordination across the team. You will enjoy multi-tasking, have strong organisation and planning expertise and will be articulate, with excellent written and numeracy expertise. Few days will be alike; you will enjoy variety and be able to use your initiative to deal with problems. You will be a team player, able to demonstrate agility, and have the capability to switch between tasks to assist senior staff. You will have excellent communication expertise to contact effectively with all team members, visiting creatives, University staff, students and the public. We seek someone who ispassionate about the arts/creative industries' sector to join our friendly team.
The function is offered on a two-year fixed-term contract. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). You will be required to work flexibly, including evenings/weekends, to support events/programme delivery, averaging 1 day weekly confirmedone month in advance. Job share arrangements may be considered.
