As a print coordinator you will be the key point of contact for the university's staff and students (internal customers) for their print requirements. You will manage the relationship with the university's external print partner and provide information and advice as to best practice. You will be aware of key university dates, such as recruitment events and proactively monitor printing workflow to ensure that deadlines are met. You will work in a creative and innovative team who also have responsibility for design, brand and content.
What you will do:
   » Coordinate all University printing requests, acting as point of contact between customers (staff and students) and external provider of managed print services. Ensuring customers understand the correct procedure and have access to the customer portal.
   » Provide advice and information on managed print service to ensure customers understand service availcapability and timeframes. Work closely with the Design Team to keep up to date on branding requirements.
   » Attend regular contract meetings with external print supplier, to ensure a value for money service is provided and any issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
   » Build and maintain effective customer relationships with Divisions and Professional Service Departments across the University to ensure the service offered meets their requirements, whilst demonstrating value for money.
Requirements / expertise
   » Educated to GCSE English and Maths level 4/grade C, or equivalent
   » Professional print qualification such a Level 3 NVQ or demonstrable, significant practice
   » Excellent IT expertise with recent and considerable practice of using MS Office
   » First rate time management, prioritisation and organisational expertise with capability to manage own workload and that of the team to meet deadlines under pressure
