The Oxford Martin School are seeking to appoint a Research Support agent to join our small, core team of professional services staff. The Research Support agent is a vital member of our busy administrative team and will offers an exciting opportunity to be involved with a wide variety of activities and support research colleagues within the School and beyond. The function will suit someone who can take a flexible and proactive approach to their workload and is a keen problem solver.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of administrative support for the School's pre-award research activity, including supporting grant applications at all stages. The post holder will also support both the Head of Administration and Finance and the Research and Programmes Manager with areas of post-award support and support for our own funding round administration. They manage the administration of the Visiting Fellows programme and are integral in providing support for the School's contribution to the REF 2029 submission.
This post would be particularly suited to an individual with practice working in research administration in a HEI or research setting, who is able to collaborate and build strong relationships with a wide variety of people in an interdisciplinary environment.
