About the function
We have a great opportunity available to join the Nottingham School of Art & Design as a part time School Administration agent , located at our City Campus with a mix of on campus and remote home working on offer.
As a School Administration agent you will be a senior member of theteamwith responsibilityfor managing designated staff members, administrative operations and processes,and leading on projects and initiativesto support the School in achieving its strategic and operational goals.Under the direction and guidance fromthe School Administration Managerand Head of Operations, you will take ownership fordata management and reporting, policy implementation and review, and the coordination of key administrative functions and processes within the School. You will helpensurethe effective provision across the School of all student and course-related administration activities, and will develop and operationalise plans in support of the student practice.
You will influence, negotiate, and collaborate with a wide networkof academic and professional services colleagues across the School and University. You will prioritise and manage workloads within a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptcapability,communicationand problem solving expertise.
We are pursuing someone who has demonstrable practice in leading teams to deliver effective administrative support, developing and coaching individuals to improve their expertise and expertise. You will also have expertise of quality assurance processes and practice of delivering customer focussed business improvements.
