We breed, supply and treat high quality vegetable and agricultural seed, using the latest in plant breeding research and seed technology. The R&D goal is to produce new and improved varieties of arable and vegetable crops, playing our part in the global challenge for sustainable food production and food security. Due to visa requirements, we can only accept applications from individuals with long-term eligibility to work in the UK already granted. What will you be doing? Due to the expansion of our team, an opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician to join our team. Your function will be to work in our dedicated laboratories across three work areas: plant tissue culture, molecular biology and phytopathology. this function provides a rare opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary environment and develop a broad portfolio of scientific expertise. What We are seeking for Ideally a degree at any level in biology, or practice within a laboratory environment is advantageous. We are seeking for someone with the right attitude and availability to get stuck in, and someone with an interest in plants and the environment.
