CitySport is the official venue for sport at City, University of London and provides fitness, wellbeing and sporting opportunities to City students, staff and alumni, as well as students from other universities, local residents and corporate organisations.
Background
The Leisure manager (Development) function is responsible for creating and managing student and community sport development programmes and events to better engage individuals in sport. The prosperous candidate will work closely with local partners and the Students' Union in project design. The post holder is also responsible for a number of recreation staff and will act as a Duty Manager to ensure effective operations of CitySport.
Person Specification
The prosperous candidate will ideally have practice within the sport and leisure industry, managing staff and operations and/or implementing projects for bespoke user groups. An capability to interact with a number of audience is important. They will also be expected to work in collaboration with partners.
