Your function as Facilities Team Leader
We are seeking for practiced and customer focused Facilities Team Leader to join our team at University Park. Main tasks will include inspecting the infrastructure of the buildings, reporting maintenance issues and setting up meeting rooms ensuring adequate supplies of consumables are available for teaching and conferences. You will also and lock and unlock designated areas of the building issuing and receiving keys from staff and contractors ensuring significant policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
A large part of this function includes being the first point of contact for visitors to the area which includes dealing with large numbers of enquiries face to face, by phone and by e-mail ensuring excellent customer service is always achieved. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleaning standards within the area and will induct, train and supervise the cleaning team carrying out appraisal conversations as required.
Candidates should have practice of working in a similar customer facing environment and have significant cleaning practice. You will also have practice of supervising staff and ideally have basic maintenance practice and expertise of fire and security alarm systems.

Hours of work are full time, 36.25 hours per week, working mainly Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 2.15pm. Flexibility will be required. Job share arrangements may be considered.
The prosperous candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
