Job Offer: Lecturer in Sports Performance Analysis:Job description:Job location: Gloucester 37 hours per week, 1.0 FTE Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2025 Oxstalls Campus About the school or department The School of Education and Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire is a thriving and exciting environment to work in. The post-holder will primarily be located at the Oxstalls campus in the Sports Performance team. About the function The science of sports performance is a fast-growing domain within sport and exercise sciences. this function is central to our delivery, research and consultancy services. The post-holder will teach across a range of sport performance modules, including performance analysis. Furthermore, the post-holder will provide module leadership abilities and academic support to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The integration of technologies into the formal learning and teaching environment is vital in sport performance science with the post-holder expected to possess advanced skills and skills in technologies, software, and data analytics significant to sports performance. Apart from excellent academic abilities the post-holder will be required to undertake laboratory and field activities to support projects involving competitive performance across a range of sports. Our numerous connections with professional sport allow us to remain current and a leader in our region, therefore it is fundamental that the prosperous candidate has the personality to engage with industry stakeholders and develop projects and services of mutual benefit. The individual should be highly motivated with a strong commitment to teaching, research and teamwork, possess a postgraduate level qualification and have practical practice in sports performance.
