Senior Research agent:Job description:Job location: Colchester, Hybrid Department The University of Essex is one of the top research-intensive universities in the UK. In the recent Research Excellence Framework 2021 (REF'2021), CSEE ranks the 6thin the UK for our research power and the 9thfor our research impact (by Grade Point Average). tasks of the function The Senior Research agent will work in physical layer related research to 6G and will lead on research topics with specific focus on space-air-ground integrated networks (SAGIN), particularly on the design of new waveforms. Both traditional and machine learning enabled solutions will be considered. The work will be carried out at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering.
