About the function

The Digital, Data & Technology Department (DDaT) is a passionate community of technical experts who provide digital, data and technology services that are accessible, significant, and secure. Significant change in service provision is anticipated and it is vital to have effective, proactive engagement with other departments and faculties. This will address a key improvement required within the Evolution project to develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver greater efficiency, coherence, cooperation, and coordination.
this function is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals with a background in AV technologies, Events technologies or Learning Technology support to join our Support Service within the University of Bath Digital Data and Technology Department. The University is currently changing the way its support service is provided, and the demand for learning technology and event technology is growing.
As a part of a dedicated Learning and Events Technology (LET) team, you will be responsible for the provision of excellent support services to staff, students and events customers. The function will involve substantial contact with an array of audio-visual equipment, learning technologies and technology systems built into the facilities on campus. The function will support learning spaces, live events (hybrid, virtual and in-person), project work, and design and installation of technical systems.
