Offer: System Administrator:Job description:Job location: Edinburgh, Hybrid Open ended: permanent Full time: 35 hours per week We are recruiting a System Administrator to join the People & Money Service to supportthe system administration of the University's Finance and HR processes implemented in our Oracle Fusion located People & Money system. The function of People & Money Systems Administrator is focused on the monitoring and maintenance of the People & Money system, the active resolution of issues, and the identification and implementation of actions to prevent issues reoccurring. Working in the cross functional People & Money Service, Systems Administrators will complete high frequency/standardised configuration tasks and monitor systems processes and interfaces - responding to issues within standard operating procedures and escalating as required The Systems Administrator will work closely with P&M partners, Subject Matters Experts in Finance and HR and with the People and Money Solution Architect. The function is open ended (permanent) and full time (35 hours per week). It is located in central Edinburgh and prosperous candidates are expected to be on site a minimum of 2 days per week. What the job involves: » Monitor and administer system Workflows, Task management and scheduled processes via Monitor Business Process Manager (BPM) and Transaction Console, identifying and resolving errors as required. Identify and implement actions to prevent issues reoccurring. » Maintain assignment to Approval Groups, Data Access Sets and Areas of Responsibility as required. Schedule and Monitor scheduled processes. » Deliver standard configuration and data uploads updates to the system including chart of accounts updates. Support the People & Money Partners to deliver and maintain complex configuration. » Administer user access - complete manual assignment of functions where auto-provisioning is not possible.Perform routine maintenance tasks to remove security functions or user setup for leavers or internal transfers. » Monitor the People and Money helpdesk queue and advise users on access related queries.
