Offer: Language Teacher:Job description:Job location: Bristol The function The Department of Hispanic, Portuguese and Latin American Studies is an integral part of a dynamic and forward-looking School of Modern Languages in the Faculty of Arts. Spanish language is a popular option studied by highly qualified and well-motivated undergraduates either as a mandatory part of a Single Honours degree, or as part of a Joint Honours degree with another modern language or with another subject. Spanish language is also taught as an option to students from all Faculties of the University and as part of the University-Wide Language Programme (UWLP). What will you be doing? The prosperous candidate will be expected to contribute flexibly across the full range of language teaching at undergraduate level, in degree and UWLP units taught on campus. They will also support the language team in the School of Modern Languages in developing the most up-to-date teaching methods and materials, especially for a digital delivery, and will make an administrative contribution to language-related activities. You should apply if The prosperous candidate will have a significant first degree, native or near native competence in Spanish and English, a postgraduate language teaching qualification, practice in language teaching at a range of levels, ideally in the HE sector, and a commitment to digital education.
