Do you dream of spending your days surrounded by trees, wildlife, and nature?Pearce Williams Summer Camp is on the lookout for a Wilderness Coordinator just like you! What You'll Do: » Lead exciting outdoor adventures like hiking, canoeing, and camping trips. » Teach campers cool wilderness expertise like fire building, compassing, and archery. » Run programming with the help and supportof our Program Coordinator » Help campers lgain to appreciate and respect nature. » Keep everyone safe and happy while exploring the wilderness. Schedule: » You'll be out in nature most days, exploring and having fun! » You will arrive at camp on Sunday afternoons for our weeklong sessions and leave Friday evenings. » room and board is provided, on the weeks our wilderness program isn't running you will be helping with programming at 'main camp' or cabin counselling. » You would need to start July 7th and work through the summer till August 23rd and must be working during our wilderness program weeks. What You Need: » A love for nature and outdoor adventures! » Good communication expertise to lead and teach campers and collaborate with other staff. » Must be responsible and able to keep everyone safe during adventures. » Bonus points if you know cool wilderness tricks like how to spot animal tracks!
