Research Fellow: from £39,607 to £44,240 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £46,771 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution. For more information please visit: https://www.brunel.ac.uk/about/our-history/home Applications are invited for a Research adjunct/Research Fellow position in the Centre for Advanced Powertrain and Fuels at Brunel University London. The post holder will be working on a Innovate UK funded project net zero hydrogen/ammonia combustion engine. It will involve experimental studies in hydrogen and ammonia injection and combustion in combustion engines. The prosperous applicant should have a PhD degree in experimental studies of combustion engines. candidates should have great expertise on engine experiments, engine instruments, engine pressure and heat release analysis. Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a significant PhD qualification. The prosperous applicant will work closely with other members and external research partners connected to this project and attend regular project meetings to report the research progress. The applicant is expected to prepare and contribute in preparation of journal papers and conference proceedings.
