St George's is looking to recruit a Senior Planning agent, who will contribute to policy development and provide analysis and briefing papers to support the University in achieving its strategic objectives.
The Planning Office plays a crucial function in supporting the university, particularly in ensuring that it meets its statutory requirements. The post holder will support business planning processes and have oversight of, the submission of the University's statutory data returns submitted by the significant university departments. The post holder is also responsible for development of the student number model and analysis of public datasets such as the National Student Survey and Longitudinal Educational results data.
They will also have an knowledge of key performance metrics affecting the higher education sector and the implications for a planning function; examples include knowledge of how data feeds into league tables, as well as major policy initiatives such as TEF and quality and standards regulation.
