Job Offer: Research Associate - Menopause and Learning Disabilities:Job description:Job location: Sunderland About the function The post holder will support the development and delivery of an externally funded research project exploring the practices and system requirements to support women with learning disabilities going through the menopause. Working with participants with lived practice, healthcare professionals and commissioners, the project will include developing study protocol, gaining NHS and University ethical approvals, data collection and analysis and leading on the writing up pf the executive report and supporting publications to be submitted to peer-reviewed journals. This post is a fixed-term contract until 31/03/2025. What you can bring The prosperous candidate will possess a postgraduate qualification significant to this project have practice in carrying out UK located research with people with learning disabilities or other vulnerable populations significant to this project, and their carers. They will also have a track record of carrying out applied health research project to time and target, be practiced in NHS and other ethical approval processes and have qualitative methodological practice, evidenced by high quality publications.
