ABOUT THE function Join our dynamic team as the Senior Bid Writer for the GREAT Network, a pioneering force in gambling research and harm reduction. With £1.8 million in secured grants, you'll lead efforts to further our mission of advancing expertise and solutions in this critical field. Your skills in bid development and securing external funding will be pivotal. Crafting compelling narratives and strategic proposals, you'll align with the network's objectives, synthesizing research findings and identifying innovative approaches to tackle gambling-related harms. You'll proactively contribute to research activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to generate impactful results. Adept at preparing reports and publishing papers, your commitment to excellence will drive both confidential and public-facing communications. As a self-motivated professional, you'll foster positive collaborations within and beyond the network, leveraging partnerships across academia and public sectors. Your contributions will enhance our research profile and operational efficiency, aligning with our commitment to continuous professional development. In this function, you'll shape the trajectory of gambling research and treatment strategies, making a significant impact within the GREAT Network and beyond.
