Are you someone who is organised, and enjoys research support, working within a motivated team, and variety in the scope of your function? We have a great opportunity to join our Research Office in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS), located on our Manor Park Campus. The Faculty delivers teaching and research to undergraduate and postgraduate students training to be the Bioscientists, Psychologist, Nurses, Paramedics, Midwives and Veterinary Surgeons of the future.

The function
We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to join the FHMS Faculty Research and Innovation Office (FRIO) in the function of Research Development agent. The prosperous candidate will collaborate closely with other professional service team members to deliver targeted support activity to the faculty's research community. Utilising collaborative methods and proactive service delivery, the post holder will play a pivotal function in ensuring our researchers' bids are managed and enhanced through effective support.
This exciting opportunity will suit a professional, enthusiastic, and well-motivated candidate keen to develop their practice or with an interest in bid development and research support across the research lifecycle.
About you
We are pursuing a proactive, enthusiastic, and dependable individual who can thrive both as part of a team and independently. this function requires strong interpersonal and organisational expertise, showcasing adaptcapability and flexibility in managing evolving workloads and priorities. You should possess good IT expertise, including MS Office and SharePoint, and must be willing to lgain the different University IT systems. While practice in WorkTribe is desirable, it is not mandatory. Similarly, practice with bid development within academic environments is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
The prosperous candidate will be able to multitask and manage a varied workload ranging from day to day tasks such as triaging inbound queries from our researcher community, to specific bid development and project budgeting activities in coordination with the wider FRIO team. You will be capable of working autonomously and will possess a keen eye of detail.
